From July 17 to 23, 2022, the Association “Svetozar Gligorić” is organizing the INTERNATIONAL OPEN CHESS TOURNAMENT called «SVETOZAR GLIGORIC» MEMORIAL.
The tournament is being organized in memory of Svetozar Gligorić Gliga (1923 – 2012), a revolutionary, chess grandmaster, extraordinary journalist, passionate musician and overall one of the most beloved personalities of the former Yugoslavian public. The tournament will be held in the «Ivo Andrić» Hall of the «Metropol Palace» Hotel (69 Boulevard Kralja Aleksandra).
