TOURNAMENT REGULATIONS
1. Organizer, date and place of the event
The Chess Federation of Vojvodina, under the patronage of the Provincial Secretariat for Sports
and Youth, is organizing an international open chess tournament called «VOJVODINA OPEN 2023»
from 29th June to 5th of July 2023.
The tournament will be held in the Ceremonial Hall of the Technical School «Mileva Marić
Einstein» (street Gagarinova no. 1).
2. The right to participate
All chess players have the right to participate in the tournament, regardless of title and rating.
The tournament is played in two groups: «A» group for players with a minimum standard rating of
2100 and «B» group for players with a maximum standard rating of 2200.
Players with a rating between 2100 and 2200 can choose which group to play in.
The valid rating is the one on the day of application, which is the day of payment of the
registration fee. The registered participant who pays the registration fee will not bear the
consequences of the rating change until the start of the tournament.
The organizer reserves the right to allow the participation of a certain number of players who do
not meet the prescribed conditions in the «A» group.
