5th YEREVAN OPEN INTERNATIONAL CHESS TOURNAMENT

Venue: «MERIDIAN» expocenter, 1 Voskerichneri St., 0015 Yerevan, RA.
Participants:
Tournament A: open to players with FIDE rating 2100 and above.
*Organizer reserves the right to allow limited number of players
with Fide rating below 2100.
Tournament B: open to players with FIDE rating 2200 and below.
FIDE unrated players who have I and II chess rank are also
eligible to participate in this tournament.
Blitz tournament: open to all participants of tournaments A and
B, as well as all FIDE rated players.
System:
Tournament A & B: 9 round Swiss system
Blitz tournament: 9 round Swiss system
The pairings program used in all tournaments is Swiss-Manager based on
ratings.
* Blitz tournament also will be sent to FIDE for rating calculations.
Time control:
Tournaments A: 90 minutes for the first 40 moves, plus 30 minutes till the
end of the game with 30 seconds increment per move, starting from move
one.
