Western Asian Junior/ Girls Chess Championship 2024
15th to 23rd July 2024, Sri Lanka
The Chess Federation of Sri Lanka under the auspices of the Asian Chess Federation
and FIDE invites National Chess Federations of Western Asian region to participate in the
Western Asia Junior Chess Championship to be held from 15th to 23rd of July 2024 in Sri Lanka.
Participation
1. Entitled to participate are Chess players from Western Asian Chess Federations (Zones 3.1,
3.2, 3.4, 3.7& 3.8) affiliated to the Asian Chess Federation. The participants must not have
reached their 20th birthday, respectively, before January 1st, 2024.
1.1 Each county may register one official player each and any number of additional players to
participate in the U-20 for Boys and Girls.
Under 20: Born on or after 1st Jan 2004
1.2 In case there are fewer than ten players and Five Federations among girls, it shall be
merged with the open boys group.
