Vugar Gashimov Memorial 2024

The traditional international chess super tournament «Vugar Gashimov Memorial 2024» will be held in Shusha from September 25 to 30, 2024. This event is dedicated to the memory of Azerbaijan’s legendary chess player, European champion, and international grandmaster Vugar Gashimov. The tournament, featuring ten chess players, will include rapid and blitz formats.
The super tournament will take place at the Shusha Hotel, organized by the Vugar Gashimov Foundation, Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Azerbaijan Chess Federation.
