Vugar Gashimov Memorial 2022

There will be held traditional international tournament «Vugar Gashimov Memorial-2022» in Baku from December 17 to 24 of the current year, dedicated to the dear memory of Azerbaijan’s genius chess player, European champion, international grandmaster Vugar Gashimov.
The tournament organized with the participation of ten chess players will take place on rapid and blitz.
The super tournament will be held at at the Fairmont Baku hotel, organized by the Vugar
Gashimov Foundation, supported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Azerbaijan Chess Federation, sponsored by SOCAR.
