SATRANÇ ARENA GM CHESS TOURNAMENT SERIES — 1 ANNOUNCEMEN
1 GENERAL
1.1 FIDE Laws of Chess and Turkish Chess Federation regulations for tournament organization will be used during the event.
2. PARTICIPANTS and REGISTRATION
2.1 The tournament will consist of 1400+ ELO rated players, titled or untitled, invited by the organizer.

3 RESULTS
3.1 The tournament will be ELO rated and will also offer a possibility of playing for title norms.
4 APPEAL
4.1 The Appeals Committee will be announced during the technical meeting and v will review the e appeals. All appeals must be submitted in writing to the chief arbiter not more than half an hour after the end of the relevant game. The appeal fee is 1000 liras.
5 IMPORTANT RULES
5.1 5.2 Swiss Manager Unicode software will be used. The default time is 30 minutes.
5.3 Draw offers are forbidden before 30 moves have been completed by both players.
5.4 5.5 According to articles 11.3.2.1 and 11.3.2.2 of FIDE Laws of Chess, any player who brings a mobile phone or another communication device to the playing area shall lose the game, and the opponent will win. The chief arbiter is entitled to changing the number of rounds, tournament schedule and the pairing system, depending on the number of participants
These changes will be announced during the Technical Meeting.
5.6 The pairings and the results will be published in the tournament hall and also on the following web page: www.chess-results.com
5.7 All participants are assumed to have read and accepted these regulations.
