The 19th International Open of Sants, Hostafrancs and La Bordeta is taking place in Barcelona, Spain from 18-27 August 2017. The 10-round Swiss open features over 700 players, with over 400 in the A Group.
The top prize in the A group is €3,000. The time control is 90 minutes for 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes until the end of the game, with a 30-second increment from move 1.
