The La Roda International Chess Tournament is back for another year, and is now 51 years old, with chess taking centre stage during the Holy Week from 15 to 20 April. And the dates are one of the main novelties, as the duration of the tournament has been increased by one day so that players can take a break on Friday morning to be able to face the last four games with the greatest guarantee of being eligible for the €20,000 prize pool .
