Greetings from All India Chess Federation!
It is with great pleasure, I would like to invite the presence of all the Officials of FIDE, Members Federations, Affiliates and Commission members at the first-ever torch relay at the Chess Olympiad to be conducted at 1700 IST on the 19th of June 2022 at the IG Stadium, New Delhi, India. The event will be launched by the honourable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi in the presence of the Sports Minister of India, Shri Anurag Singh Thakur and the President of FIDE, Mr. Arkady Dvorkovich.
The event will be streamed online and the attending participants will be displayed on an LED wall at the venue. Participants are requested to be in formal attire, preferably with the country’s flag pinned on the chest while attending the event online.
