Welcome to the official website of the FIDE Congress, the premier gathering of chess family members from around the world which this year will be held in Hotel InterContinental Budapest, Hungary. FIDE Congress is an official FIDE event combining the sessions of the General Assembly, FIDE Council, Zonal Council and FIDE Commissions.

Those of you who want to attend the FIDE General Assembly:
Access to the meeting will be provided to accredited press only, so do not forget your badges.
Venue: InterContinental Budapest (Apaczai Csere J.U, 12-14, 1052 Hungary)
There will be dedicated seats for media. Due to a limited space, they will be provided on first come first serve basis.
The General Assembly will also be broadcast online.
