FIDE Arbiters’ Commission releases a new edition of the FIDE Arbiters’ Manual 2025
The FIDE Arbiters’ Commission is pleased to release the edition 2025 of the FIDE Arbiters’ Manual.
After the release of the Arbiters’ Manual 2022, FIDE and many commissions have brought in lot of changes from the arbiters’ point of view. For example, the FPL has totally changed the regulations, regrouping them to a different structure from 18th November 2024. The Technical Commission has introduced a new system for team pairing from 1st August 2024; Qualification Commission has slightly changed the regulations from 1st March 2024 and for rapid and blitz rating from 1st December 2024. The Arbiters’ Commission on its part has modified the format of the norm certificates and title applications.
Hence, the Arbiters’ Commission felt that it is high time that all these changes were incorporated into the Arbiters Manual and the nomenclature may be Arbiters’ Manual 2025, so that it will beneficial not only to arbiters all over the world, but also to all players, organisers and other officials, regarding matters pertaining to the arbiters.
