of the International Chess Festival
“Baku Open — 2023”
Dedicated to the 100th
anniversary of the
National Leader Heydar Aliyev
I. Objectives
— Celebration of the 100th anniversary of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev;
— Popularization and development of chess in Azerbaijan.
II. Organizers:
— The Ministry of Youth & Sport of the Republic of Azerbaijan;
— Azerbaijan Chess Federation.
III. Tournament place and date
Festival will be held in Baku Crystal Hall from May 3
rd (Arrival) to May 12th (last round andclosing ceremony).
Deadline for registration is April 20, 2023.
Prizes:
The total prize fund of the Tournament is 55000 (fifty-five thousand) USD.
The prize fund will be provided by Azerbaijan Chess Federation.
The amount is net and cleared of any taxes applicable in the Republic of Azerbaijan.
