3rd International “Women’s Chess Championship” tournament
Samarkand, Uzbekistan
8th March — 19th March 2025
The total prize fund is 50 000 US dollars.
The competition will be conducted in accordance with FIDE regulations.
divided into two sections for female parlicipants:
In group A — Players rated I800 or higher;
In group B — Players rated 2000 or lower.
The tournament will be held in 9 rounds using the Swiss system, with games
played at standard time controls. Each player will receive 90 minutes, starting from
the first move, with an additional 30 seconds increment per move. Draws will not be
allowed before the 3Oth move.
The maximum default time for a round is 15 minutes. Players who fail to
appear for 2 rounds in succession will be disqualified from the competition.
The ratings of invited foreign chess players will be based on the FIDE rating
list of February 1,2025.
