Competition time: October 15, 2024 (registration) to October 23, 2024

4、 Qualification for Participation
(1)Group A: Players from all member federations of the International
Chess Federation with a rating of 2000 or above are eligible to register
for the competition, regardless of gender.
(2)Group B: Players from all member federations of the International
Chess Federation with a score of 1999 or below are eligible to register for
the competition, regardless of gender.
(3)The rating for the month of the publication for regulation shall
prevail.
(4)Players participating in the competition must have FIDE ID.
5、 Competition Method
(1)The competition adopts the latest International Chess Federation
competition rules and is organized using the Swiss Manager computer
program. The FIDE rating is calculated according to the requirements of
the International Chess Federation.
(2)The competition shall be conducted in accordance with the «Chinese
Chess Association Competition Discipline Code and Penalty Regulations
(2024 Edition)».
(3)Competition format: Using a 9-round Swiss format, each player
takes 90 minutes and each step adds 30 seconds.
The registration deadline is 18:00 on October 6, 2024.
