11th Cesme International Open Chess Tournament
11th Çeşme International Open Chess Tournament will be organized
by Çeşme Municipality and Turkish Chess Federation in Çeşme, district of İzmir.
The tournament will be start on Monday, June 23, 2025 and will be finished on
Sunday, June 29, 2025.
Applications for the tournament must be completed until 21.00 on Saturday,
June 21, 2025. Applications made after the application deadline deemed invalid.
The tournament will be organized in two different hall: Çeşme Ayios Haralambos
Cultural Centre and Sıdıka Kelami Ertan Secondary School Sports Hall.
Pairing system, number of rounds and time control of the tournament are as
follows:
a) ELO Categories will be played by the Swiss System with 9 rounds the first three
rounds of which are the Baku Accelerated System (C.04.5.1) .
b) National rating category will be played by the Swiss System with 9 rounds.
c) In ELO and National Rating Categories, both players have 90 minutes. There is a 30
seconds increment per move, starting with the move one.
(6) Turkish Chess Federation Competition Rules and Regulations and FIDE Laws of
Chess are valid for the tournament.
